The Lee Wilson Cup for Achievement
In 2005, a hugely valued member and friend tragically died at the age of 18. Lee had been heavily
involved with the company from a very young age, always keen to help with the lighting and sound.
His enthusiasm paid off when Lee took over as the companies lighting and sound designer. Lee’s
efforts were hugely appreciated and recognised by many. He worked at The Theatre Royal, Plymouth with
the technical department and his achievements were rewarded in 2005 when he was part of the team
setting up for the “Live 8” concerts; being flown around the country by helicopter to
set up the stages, meeting Sir Bob on the way!
Lee was not only an essential member of the company, but also a very dear friend who is deeply
missed. Lee’s attention to detail and enthusiasm is with us all, he will never be forgotten.

Lee’s family kindly donated “The Lee Wilson Cup
for Achievement” in 2005. The cup is awarded to a member after each
production and represents outstanding achievement that the
individual has shown to the production. To be awarded the cup in
Lee’s memory is an honour second to none. |
